Position – Estimator

Location: Head office in Elgin with project locations across Moray
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Employment Status: Permanent contract
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm/Friday: 7:30am – 2:30pm
Role: Full-time position, reporting directly to the Director.

Skills and Competence:

Proven experience in construction estimation, with a preference for those with relevant experience in an all-trades main contractor or estimating position.
Exceptional ability to produce accurate and competitive bids.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
High level of initiative and a solid work ethic.
Diverse skill set in estimating for a variety of projects, including commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors.

Training and Qualifications:

Quantity Surveying or Construction Management degree, or significant relevant experience.
Familiarity with MS Office and estimation software.
CSCS card and other relevant qualifications are beneficial.
A full UK driving licence is essential.

Position – Joiner

Location – Head office in Elgin with site locations across Moray
Salary – Good hourly rates of pay dependent on experience
Employment Status – Self Employed or Directly Employed Both Considered
Working Hours – Monday to Thursday – 7.30am – 4.30pm Friday – 7.30am – 2.30pm
Role – Full time permanent position reporting to the Contracts Manager

Skills and Competence –

• Ideally a minimum of 3 year’s experience after completion of apprenticeship
• Ability to produce high quality productive work
• Possess good communication skills
• Be able to work on your own initiative and be able comfortable working within a team
• Have a good work ethic
• We are a small business therefore a good all round skill set in all aspects of site joinery such as timber frame construction, truss and traditional cut in roof construction, first and second fix, stair installation, traditional bespoke joinery such as work in old properties, doors and windows and kitchen fitting

Training and Qualifications –

Time served with evidence of completed apprenticeship certification or satisfactory evidence of experience
CSCS card beneficial but not essential
Any other qualifications such as first aid / Scaffolding / MEWPS / NPORS / Asbestos Awareness / Short Duration Courses are a benefit but not essential as training of this nature will be provided by the company
Full UK driving license is essential for the right candidate
